J. Donald Curran is a principal with the Spokane/Seattle Law Office of Delay, Curran, Thompson, Pontarolo & Walker, P.S.  His practice is exclusively Plaintiff’s Personal Injury, Probate, Legal Ethics and representing lawyers with ethical problems. Mr. Curran has served as President of the WSTLA (now WSAJ) and Spokane County Bar Association, is a former member of the WSBA Disciplinary Board and served as its Chair in 1987; is an invited member to the American College of Trial Lawyers (1983-2011) and since 1993, Mr. Curran has been and is now listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been listed in Spokane’s “Best Lawyers”.  He was elected to the WSBA Board of Governors in 1988-1991; is a past Chair of the WSBA Disciplinary Committee, Character & Fitness Committee and a former member of the WSBA Professionalism Committee and Judicial Recommendation Committee.  He has served as a Hearing Officer in disciplinary cases, is a frequent speaker at the ethics-oriented continuing legal educational seminars and a past chair of the WSBA Rules of Professional Conduct Committee.  For the past 28 years, he has chaired the WSBA “Ethical Dilemmas” four-hour seminar dealing with ethical issues for the practicing attorney.
